Welcome to Primary 1d, Room 4

Welcome to our class blog

We hope that you will enjoy hearing about the learning that takes place in our classroom this session and invite you to leave a comment for us.

Primary 1d have been extremely busy since school started. We have talked about how to make our classroom a happy and safe learning environment .We understand that it is important to follow rules to enable everyone to access their rights. We focussed on our right to an education, our right to play and our right to be safe for our class charter and have all agreed to this.

Already we have been learning about our Jolly Phonic sounds and we have practised writing our own names. We have been counting and writing numbers, painting , cutting and sticking and so much more. We work hard with our activities but have lots of fun too!

We go to PE every Monday and Thursday and are getting a little faster at changing into shorts and t-shirts. It makes it much easier for us if we come to school in a polo shirt on gym days so that we don't need to worry about ties and we can even wear the polo shirt to gym. We are not allowed to wear any jewellery during PE lessons as this wouldn't be safe, and unfortunately school staff are not able to help with removing earrings. If it is possible, jewellery shouldn't be worn on gym days.

We are very much looking forward to showing you some photographs of our work and of ourselves working, playing and spending time with our buddies in the near future.
